Dr.Baheti's DSC provides high quality and efficient laboratory services. State-Of-The-Art Facilities for diagnosis of diabetes are available. The clinical biochemistry unit is headed by Dr.Mahesh Madole, MD BIOCHEMISTRY, who is assisted by qualified 3 laboratory technicians.In addition to the routine clinical bio-chemistry investigations, the centre has facilities to perform certain special tests such as thyroid, insulin, c- peptide and Glycosulated haemoglobin.The laboratory is equipped with ROSH Full autoanalyser.
GLYCOSULATED HAEMOGLOBIN (HbA1c) ASSAY :
Glycosulated haemoglobin or (Hba1c test) is a reliable index of the average blood glucose during the previous 2-3 months and is now used routinely to monitor longterm glycemic control in diabetic individuals.
As a part of the Quality Control Project, Dr.Baheti's DSC has been undertaking standerdization of Hba1c assays to international standards. To achive the above goal, Dr.Baheti's DSC has been utilizing the state-of-the-art biomedical equipment for HbA1c assays.Dr.Baheti's DSC was the first hospital in parbhani to introduce ROSH COBAS C111 machine certified by National Glycohaemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP),Columbia, USA.

More than 40% of the kidney diseases in our country occure due to diabetes. if detected in the early stage, this complication can be reversed. Dr.Baheti's DSC has facilities to estimate the early marker of kidney disease the "MICROALBUMINURIA" test and other specialized Kidney tests.

• Reports of fasting sample alone are not entertained.
• Fasting sample should be followed by PP sample, other investigations and consultation at the centre.
